A nutrition counselor is available for individual dietary consultations. A 60-90 minute nutrition consultation includes your personal dietary assessment and analysis. Your counselor will then design your individual diet plan based on medical history, individual food preferences and nutritional needs. You will be taught behavioral modification strategies.

Your counselor will address calorie needs, your weaknesses with food, and show you how to gradually improve your eating habits. You will be educated on the difference between good carbs and bad carbs. Your diet will be modified showing you how to speed up your metabolism and burn more calories by eating on a proper schedule.

Our goal is to help you reach your goal! By obtaining the knowledge our nutrition counselors can provide, you will then have the ability to plan your diet and nutrition so that you can achieve your short term and long-range health and fitness goals.


Professional training is an excellent investment in your health and wellness!  It’s one-on-one attention that includes a tailor-made cardiovascular and strength program as well as basic information regarding anatomy, physiology and nutrition. Working with a professional trainer is a fantastic way for you to get the knowledge to get your program started.

As a member of the fitness center, you will receive expert guidance from our professional trainers.  Your program and diet will be individualized for your specific needs.  This takes into account your goals, medical history, amount of time you can commit to your workouts, etc.  As a fitness member, you can take advantage of our trainers knowledge for a minimal fee to achieve optimum results.  In most cases, your routine will change only every couple of months.

Cardiovascular Exercise
Cardio is defined as any exercise that raises your heart rate for an extended period of time.  Whether a stair climber, a stationary bike, a treadmill or whatever other piece of equipment you choose, we can help you get maximum results with minimum effort.  Proper and consistent cardio work takes less time than your think, helping you develop endurance, boosting your mood, heart function and immune system.  Cardio exercise may also lower body fat and decrease the risk of developing depression and other chronic diseases.  By constantly varying the types of equipment you use and changing your routine, you will continue to get results. Our trainers can help you change your cardio for the best results.

Resistance Training
Done the right way, resistance training develops more definition in your muscles.  The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn.  You can even burn more calories while sleeping.  Resistance training can be performed using free weights, body weight, machines and stability balls.  Benefits include improved productivity, increased strength and bone density, as well as reduction in stress, hypertension, cholesterol and osteoporosis.

Food Intake
A healthy diet is about eating smarter, not less.  You can actually eat your favorite foods and still get fit.  The key is to understand what your body needs and dispel common myths about food.  For example, you need fat for healthy skin and brain function.  And you must have carbs to fuel your body for everything you do.  Especially exercise.  Learning the difference between good carbs and bad carbs is very important.  Good carbs are used for energy and bad carbs are often stored as body fat.  When we do nutrition counseling with a client, we don’t make drastic changes immediately.  You’re educated how to gradually improve and change your dietary habits.

Vitamins and Supplements
It’s practically impossible to get your daily requirements of vitamins and minerals from your daily food intake.  A daily multi vitamin is recommended.  Without the right vitamins and supplements, you won’t reach fitness goals as fast as you can. 
If you’re trying to lose weight vitamins and supplements may boost metabolism.  Trying to gain muscle?  Vitamins and supplements may lower your chances of losing body mass.  They may also lower fatigue if your goal is to build endurance.

Your trainer will work with you to develop the right mix of the 5 components, guiding you on a path to reach your goals quickly yet safely.  Your trainer keeps you motivated and committed, lowering your chance of injury and steering you away from boredom.  In short, your trainer removes the guesswork so you can focus on getting fit.  A professional trainer will make the difference between limited results or obtaining the knowledge to maximize your results.
